Job Description

My client is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer or Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team based in Cardiff. The role involves designing and delivering residential engineering schemes, including SAB Approvals and technical packages such as Section 278, Section 38, Section 104, and Section 185 agreements. A more senior candidate is expected to be self-sufficient in managing and designing their projects, while a more junior candidate will support engineers on their schemes with the goal of training them to become self-sufficient.

Experience:

1. Fully conversant with AutoCAD (Minimum Requirement)
2. Previous relevant industry experience
3. Experience with 3D design software such as PDS or Civil 3D
4. Experience with drainage design software like Microdrainage or Flow
5. SAB approvals experience is beneficial but not essential

Qualifications:

1. Degree-level qualification (HNC acceptable with experience)
2. Experience working on Residential Developments or a general infrastructure background
3. Full UK driving license
