Job summary

AECOM in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. This role supports development-led infrastructure work from due diligence to detailed design and construction support, with growing responsibility for technical delivery and project management.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK and abroad to deliver highways, drainage and related infrastructure for diverse sectors, with a flexible hybrid working model and strong career development

Qualifications

• Experience in UK development-led infrastructure engineering within private or consultancy settings.
• Proficiency with InfoDrainage and Civil 3D.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Working towards Chartership (MICE).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review survey specifications and related studies.
• Coordinate studies and conceptual designs for development schemes (drainage, highways, utilities, earthworks, flood risk).
• Contribute to the design and delivery of highways, drainage and related infrastructure for complex developments.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to secure approvals.
• Contribute to bids and proposals and present technical solutions at meetings.
