The role (site-based position)

Ferrovial Construction seeks Graduate Engineers to assist with, and sometimes manage, daily activities on major UK infrastructure projects. The 3-year graduate development programme aims to enhance personal, professional, and technical skills through a blended approach. You will work under the supervision of Section/Project Managers and collaborate with the site team.

Key Responsibilities: You may be assigned a project or a small package to manage from start to finish. You will contribute to health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards on our projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in coordinating team activities to ensure project completion on budget and schedule, following construction processes.
  • Collaborate with procurement to ensure financial compliance.
  • Support project compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Assist the Project Manager in team management, resource planning, performance management, and employee development.
  • Promote Ferrovial Construction UK’s vision and values, taking ownership of your work.
  • Adhere to safety regulations on site and ensure staff compliance.

Skills and Competence:

  • Degree or master’s in engineering (all disciplines considered)
