A leading company in fusion energy is looking to expand its technical team in materials engineering. Candidates with a strong academic background in engineering or materials science and excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply. The role involves research and development of innovative materials to tackle challenges in fusion technology, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

We have establishedourselves as a highly respected technical service supplier for the fusionenergy market, within both the private and public sectors, nationally andinternationally. We are equally a research and technology development company developingnovel disruptive materials and design technologies to help in the required fundamentalshift for the world’s clean energy future.
We are expanding our technical team to support our corebusinesses in materials solutions for fusion. This role will support both:
1. Technicalresearch, analysis, and critical thought of materials engineering for fusion enterprisesglobally.
2. Expandingour portfolio of patented disruptive technology, through research &development, with new ideas, and approaches in fusion materials andengineering.
The role willrequire teamwork, and the ability to communicate complex challenges to a rangeof audiences. Materials engineering and reactor design are a grand challengefor the realisation of fusion power on the grid, you will be working onproblems without obvious solutions requiring tenacity, and lateral approachesto solve. Some national and international travel will be required.
Ideally, you will have some of these:
·Astrong academic background within engineering, materials science, physics or asimilar STEM environment. Either an early career professional or expecting tograduate soon.
·Anability to communicate technical concepts.
·Goodverbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
·Awillingness to learn new things and to change your mind with new knowledge.
Maybe, you will have some of these:
·Adesire to build business and strategise for the future.
·Someexperience developing computational approaches (such as Python) to supportproblem solving.
