Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary design team. You will deliver high-quality civil designs for building developments across diverse UK projects, collaborating with architects, structural engineers and other disciplines.

The role covers drainage, roads, utilities and external works, with a focus on technical excellence, compliance with UK standards, and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• At least five years' experience in civil engineering design.
• 0
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure for building developments.
• 0
• Experience using Civil 3D, AutoCAD and drainage software.
• 0
• Good understanding of UK design standards and best practice.
• 0
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• 0
• Ability to work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• 0
• Progress toward Chartered Engineer status with ICE is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce civil engineering designs for building and infrastructure projects.
• Design drainage systems, roads, car parks, utilities, earthworks and external works.
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation.
• Deliver designs in accordance with UK standards, regulations and client requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to produce coordinated engineering solutions.
• Manage workload to meet project programmes and delivery milestones.
• Work in line with BIM standards and digital engineering processes.
• Assist with technical reviews and quality assurance activities.
• Support communication with clients, contractors and regulators.
