Job summary

South East Water is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Civils team, delivering vital water infrastructure projects across the South East to ensure safe, clean water for customers.

You will review project scopes, provide technical solutions, produce design drawings and CDM documents, and mentor graduates and apprentices to grow their skills. The role requires independent working, strong stakeholder communication, and site visits to audit works.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in a Civil Engineer role with ability to manage own deliverables.
• Strong awareness and understanding of industry standards and specifications.
• Solid understanding of CDM 2015 and how to apply it to projects.
• Experience in design, construction, or maintenance of infrastructure assets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• An HNC, HND, or degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline.


• Experience in a similar Civil Engineer role, with the ability to manage your own deliverables.

• Experience in the design, construction, or maintenance of infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets.
