Job summary

Brandon James Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its growing engineering team, based from either Braintree or London. This role offers the chance to work on diverse UK projects, with structured training and support toward EngTech, IEng or CEng status.

Responsibilities include producing designs with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, preparing calculations and hydraulic models, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams while meeting UK standards. Hybrid working may be available.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and InfoDrainage.
• Understanding of drainage, infrastructure and civil engineering design principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A desire to work towards EngTech, IEng or CEng membership.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

An award-winning, employee-owned, multi-disciplinary property consultancy is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its growing engineering team. Based from either Braintree or London, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Civil Engineer to develop their technical skills while working on a varied portfolio of projects across the UK.

The successful Civil Engineer will support the delivery of civil engineering services across a range of sectors, working closely with architects, project managers, surveyors and other technical specialists. This role offers strong professional development, structured training and the opportunity to work towards EngTech, IEng or CEng status.

The Role

As a Civil Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
