APCOA PARKING UK is looking for a Civil Enforcement Officer to patrol Bromley streets and council car parks, ensuring parking restrictions are followed and assisting residents and visitors with information. The role emphasizes public service over target-driven metrics.

The Role

Civil Enforcement Officer

Location: Bromley

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Salary: £29,503.50 per annum rising to £32,708 from 1st November 2026

Must either hold a CBT license or be willing to train for a CBT license

• You will be helping members of the public, patrolling streets and council car parks, advising and upholding parking restrictions.
• Yes, you will be issuing parking tickets but you won’t have targets as this job is about creating a positive impact on the local neighbourhood.
• You will be reporting any defects to street furniture, such as signs and road markings and looking out for any violations of civil laws.
• You will provide a high level of all-round customer service, providing the public with useful knowledge and advice.
