Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Civil Drainage Engineer in Doncaster. You will design drainage systems for residential developments and create surface water solutions, including SuDS and highway layouts, aligning with standards and approvals.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, coordinating with stakeholders and progressing projects from feasibility to detailed design. A civil engineering degree and UK right to work are essential.

Formación

• 3–5 years’ experience in a civil engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Background in residential/housing development schemes.
• Technical knowledge of drainage design, SuDS and surface water attenuation.
• Experience preparing highway layouts and adoptable infrastructure designs.
• A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Practical problem-solving and teamwork.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Doncaster.
• Existing right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

Your Responsibilities as a Civil Drainage Engineer

• Designing drainage systems and preparing drainage strategies for residential developments.
• Developing surface water management solutions, including attenuation and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS).
• Producing adoptable highway layouts and associated infrastructure designs.
• Supporting the delivery of projects from initial feasibility through to detailed design.
• Ensuring designs comply with relevant technical standards, regulations and approval requirements.
• Working alongside other engineering disciplines and external stakeholders to coordinate project delivery.
• Taking increasing ownership of project work while contributing to the continued growth of the department.

Requirements for the Civil Drainage Engineer
