Job summary

Aldwych Consulting in Nottingham is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join its expanding Infrastructure Design team. Hybrid working is available, with up to two days per week from home. The role covers residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments, delivering from feasibility to construction.

The successful candidate will have consultancy civil design experience, strong technical ability and a proactive approach to career progression within an employee-owned business.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering design within a consultancy environment.
• Knowledge of infrastructure design for development projects.
• Strong technical ability and a solutions-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil infrastructure design across a varied portfolio of development projects.
• Contribute to projects from initial concepts through to detailed design and construction.
• Collaborate with colleagues across infrastructure design, transport planning and water management.
• Liaise with clients and other design professionals to develop cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Take on increasing technical and project responsibility as experience develops.
