Role: Civil Design Engineer

Location: Fareham

Salary: £35,000 to £50,000

We have an immediate requirement for a Civil Design Engineer with 3+ years’ experience to join our client's Fareham office. The job is office-based with flexible working hours.

Civil Design Engineer Role:

The civil engineer shall ensure design works are completed as per the Client’s requirements.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience in the design of civil projects including roads and drainage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A ‘can-do’ attitude and a desire to provide excellent service quality.
• Knowledge of UK, Irish, and European codes.
• Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or similar civil engineering design software.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.

Desirable Knowledge:

• Knowledge of civil engineering products (e.g., drainage, road design pipes, manholes, shafts, cover slabs).
• Membership of or working towards membership of an appropriate professional institution (e.g., ICE) and a desire to attain Chartered Engineer status.
