Boyd Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineering Contracts Manager to oversee multiple civil projects across the West of Scotland. You will take ownership of planning, delivery, and commercial oversight to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

In this senior role, you will lead teams, manage resources and subcontractors, maintain client satisfaction, and drive profitability while upholding high standards across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing Civil Engineering projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of HSE, quality, and commercial management.
• Skilled in planning, resource allocation, and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects safely, promoting a zero-accident culture
• Plan, allocate, and monitor labour, plant, materials, and schedules
• Ensure quality standards and client requirements are consistently met
• Manage and develop operatives, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Oversee budgets, costs, and recovery to maximise profitability
• Support business development and tendering activities
• Prepare and maintain construction programmes
