Job summary

Breedon Group is seeking an experienced Assistant Contracts Manager to lead civil engineering contracts across the Western and Southern Region from our Lisburn site. You will manage project performance, oversee a small team of Contracts Supervisors and Engineers, and work closely with clients to deliver projects safely and commercially.

The role covers scoping, planning, programming, delivery, and commercial performance with close collaboration across colleagues in Commercial, Health & Safety,

Qualifications

• Third-level Civil Engineering qualification.
• At least five years of management experience in large civil projects or framework contracts.
• Strong people-management and mentoring abilities.
• Good commercial knowledge and cost control experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day performance of contracts and projects.
• Scoping, planning, programming and delivering civil works.
• Lead Contracts Supervisors and Engineers.
• Ensure safety, quality and contractual compliance across contracts.
• Coordinate with Tendering, Estimating and client meetings as required.
• Maintain commercial records and review CVRs and payments.
