Une entreprise EPC recherchée pour un ingénieur en construction civile pour un contrat initial de 12 mois basé à Durham. We are looking for a Civil Construction Engineer to join our team, working for a leading EPC based in Durham.
Initial 12 month contract
Site Based
Outside IR35
The successful candidatewill support the successful planning and delivery of works on site for the Project. Working with the Construction Manager they will be responsible for developing and documenting installation methodologies, reviewing contractor installations in accordance with approved designs and providing on site engineering leadership throughout planning, execution, snagging and handover. The role will support our integration and coordination with our sub-contractors.
Key responsibilities, accountabilities, and decision ownership:
Provide technical support to construction teams, acting as a bridge between the design office and on site works delivery.
Supervise the technical installation of assets, ensuring they are done in accordance with the approved designs.
Develop installation methodology in conjunction with the construction team, and document within detailed work method statements.
Report on progress through to the project controls team.
Preparing scope, schedule, and other technical documents for RFP processes for contracted works, and temporary works design.
Identification and control of construction and engineering design change.
Coordinate technical queries between site team and design office.
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Minimum 3yrs experience within a Civil Engineering discipline.
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and efficient manner.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable county, province, and federal/ statutes and guidelines.
Must have technical / professional qualifications
Accredited degree or global equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Excellent use of Microsoft Office suite.
Fluent in English .
Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD &/or Revit
Full UK driving license.
Desirable: Experience in delivering power or transmission infrastructure projects, or projects within a heavily regulated environment.
Desirable: Experience in survey techniques and the use of Total Stations
Desirable: Experience working with BIM models
