Job Description

My client is a renowned Engineering Consultancy offering services to prestigious and local companies. Due to new projects, their Leeds office seeks a Principal Structural Engineer to ensure successful project delivery within budget and timelines.

Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers and designers, managing project delivery, acting as discipline lead within a multidisciplinary team, maintaining client contact, and ensuring project objectives are met.

You will verify the technical correctness of work, undertake calculations, produce drawings, sketches, reports, and provide technical guidance and mentorship to colleagues. Collaboration with other disciplines is essential.

Requirements include knowledge of design in steel, concrete, timber, masonry, geotechnical engineering, and foundations. Experience with Eurocodes, Tekla, Revit, BIM protocols, and 3D design environments is necessary. Chartered or near Chartered status with a minimum of 7 years UK experience is preferred.
