Job description

My client, a specialist UK-based Civil Engineering Consultancy focusing on Structural, Civil, and Environmental Engineering, is searching for a Civil CAD Technician to join their team in London.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline, including a HNC/HND or BSc in Civil Engineering. Ideally, candidates will have experience working for a UK-based Consultancy or Local Authority, completing wastewater treatment designs using AutoCAD, Revit, or ACC.

Beneficial skills include experience with BIM modelling or using Infoworks or Causeway Flow.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work with a team of experienced Engineers on Water and Waste Water Treatment projects for Water Companies.

The responsibilities include:

1. Sewerage and Pipeline Designs using AutoCAD, Revit, and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
2. Creating 2D and 3D design models and drawings for water and wastewater treatment projects.
3. Designing layouts, RC details, sections, site plans, and civil detailing using Revit and Civil 3D.
4. Model sharing using ACC.
