Job summary

RGB Recruitment in Cardiff is seeking a Civil CAD / BIM Technician to produce and coordinate Civil 3D drawings and models from concept through to construction. You will work with engineers and in-house teams to ensure accurate, coordinated design information across drainage, external works and infrastructure packages.

The role requires 5+ years' experience in a Civil CAD/BIM or Technician role, with proficiency in Civil 3D and solid knowledge of UK regulations.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Civil 3D and producing civil drawings and models.
• Solid understanding of UK drainage and external works.
• Strong collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce Civil 3D models, drawings and technical details for drainage, external works and level designs.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineers and in-house teams to deliver coordinated design information.
• Support design coordination with external architects, MEP consultants and contractors.
• Follow BIM standards, workflows and project protocols for consistency.
• Prepare general arrangement drawings, sections and schedules for buildings.
