Job summary

Worcester City Council is seeking a Cleaning Operative to join a busy City Centre cleansing team. The role covers 7 days a week on a rota of 5 out of 7, including weekends, carrying out essential cleaning tasks outdoors in all weather.

You'll work with a small team of 5, with training provided, and you will be responsible for litter-picking, bin-emptying, toilet cleansing and other general cleansing duties to maintain high standards for Worcester residents.

Qualifications

• Experience of carrying out a wide variety of street cleansing duties.
• Ability to work unsupervised and carry out required tasks to a high standard.
• Excellent customer care skills and commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Litter-picking and bin-emptying in the city centre.
• Toilet cleansing and other general cleansing duties.
• Working as part of a small team or independently as required.
