• Previous driving or outdoor operational experience is desirable.

• Good reliability, timekeeping and attendance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to undertake active outdoor work in varying weather.
• Good awareness of surroundings and care when working near members of the public.
• Willingness to follow instructions and complete required duties to a good standard.

Responsibilities

• Drive an assigned street-cleansing vehicle safely and responsibly.

• Carry out routine checks and report any vehicle or equipment issues.
• Follow site instructions, health and safety procedures and agreed schedules.
• Work professionally and courteously while operating in public areas.
• Support colleagues with general cleansing duties when required.
