Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks a CIS/SCI Integration & Post-Migration Stabilisation Data Engineer for a 12-month contract, fully remote in the UK. The role focuses on migrating data pipelines to the cloud, stabilising environments, and implementing robust error handling and production support patterns.

Strong Databricks, SQL and PySpark skills are essential, with experience in legacy ETL tools and cloud migrations. The engineer will repoint dependencies, ensure data integrity, and deliver reusable solutions

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Databricks, SQL, Python/PySpark ETL/ELT data-pipeline migration.
• Legacy-to-cloud modernisation and production troubleshooting.
• Data validation/reconciliation, integration testing and L2-L3 production support.
