Job summary

Yadimen Consulting Limited in Birmingham, UK, is seeking an experienced Governance Manager to support the UK Chief Information Officer with governance execution, risk and regulatory compliance.

The role sits in the GCIO COO function, partnering with senior executives and regulators to drive strategy, manage governance forums, and ensure timely papers and briefings.

You will translate strategy into clear messaging for internal and external stakeholders and maintain SoRs across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex matrix environment within a regulated financial institution.
• Demonstrable experience managing SMF24 accountability including SoRs and regulatory reporting.
• Proven track record in CIO/CTO/COO governance: forum management, board/papers.
• Ability to translate complex technology strategy into clear messaging for C-suite and board.
• Strong stakeholder management with regulators and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Governance of Strategy Execution: support CIO strategy with scorecards and governance forums.
• Manage and document SoRs, accountability mappings, and regulatory alignment of reporting.
• Prepare management reports, presentations, and papers for UK CIO and executives.
• Maintain oversight of key governance meetings and drive actions to completion.
