Vue Cinemas seeks a Customer Assistant to welcome guests, assist with queries at the cinema, and keep facilities clean and inviting. You’ll inform customers about content and showtimes, process purchases at tills, and contribute to a safe, friendly environment.

No prior experience is required; enthusiasm, clear communication, and a team-focused mindset are essential for success in a fast-paced cinema setting.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required, but enthusiasm and passion to help create an exciting atmosphere.
• Ability to work at pace in a busy cinema environment.
• Strong communication and a team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers into the cinema, assist queries, and provide a prompt service.
• Use till points to process purchases and help manage queue times.
• Share information about current content, showtimes, and alternatives if sold out.
• Keep cinema areas clean and tidy, including counters, screens, and washrooms.
• Communicate pricing, promotions, and product options to customers.
• Support customers’ understanding of products and services, including food & beverage options.
• Work with colleagues to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Demonstrate initiative, be approachable, and reflect Vue's core values.
