Job summary

Horsham District Council is seeking a Developer Contributions Technician to join our Development and Building Control team in Horsham. The role involves administering CIL requirements, issuing notices and invoices, and performing detailed calculations with accuracy.

You will maintain records for CIL, S106 and planning conditions, coordinating with Finance, Land Charges and Legal Services to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) and Section 106 regulations.
• Strong numerical and data management skills with accuracy in calculations.
• Experience using databases and IT systems to manage information.

Responsibilities

• Administer and co-ordinate CIL requirements, including issuing Liability Notices, Demand Notices and invoices.
• Carry out CIL liability calculations, accounting for exemptions, reliefs, abatements, surcharges and interest.
• Maintain up-to-date records for CIL, S106, planning conditions monitoring and related processes.
