Job summary

Eventus Legal is recruiting a CICA Solicitor to join a specialist Abuse Compensation team in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, comprehensive training in this niche area of personal injury litigation and a salary up to £45,000.

The successful candidate will benefit from 26 days' annual leave rising to 31, a discretionary bonus scheme, employee healthcare, pension and life insurance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in personal injury
• Knowledge of CICA claims advantageous but not essential
• Strong client care and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Progress Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority claims for clients within the CICA team
• Provide empathetic, client-focused service to individuals pursuing compensation
• Apply general personal injury knowledge within a specialist CICA environment
• Undertake advocacy where required to progress claims
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with clients throughout matters
• Operate within paper-lite systems and established processes
• Develop specialist knowledge of CICA claims through full training
