Job summary

Career Connect seeks a confident CIAG Adviser to work with offenders in custody, helping them prepare for work on release. You will engage them in learning, training and employment opportunities, ensuring progress toward a new life post-release.

Training will be provided, and a 37.5-hour week with flexitime features is available. The role emphasizes a non-judgemental, proactive approach and strong data handling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with offenders or other disadvantaged groups.
• Level 4 or above in IAG (information, advice and guidance).
• Willing to work 37.5 hours per week and flexitime where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Engage offenders in learning, training and employment opportunities for readiness on release.
• Support individuals to progress and connect with work on release in a custodial setting.
