An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Perioperative Disposal Healthcare Support Worker to join our dynamic team in the Main Theatre Suite at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Main Theatres is a busy environment, hosting 17 Operating Theatres with a mix of elective and emergency surgeries.
This role involves assisting with the preparation and packing of used surgical instrumentation for transportation to our Central Decontamination Unit, as well as maintaining cleanliness and stock levels in Theatre disposal areas.
We seek a motivated and enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team and independently. The ability to meet the demands of the service and work under pressure in a busy environment is essential. Previous experience in a similar setting is desirable.
You must achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct during your employment.
