Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Perioperative Disposal Healthcare Support Worker to join our dynamic team in the Main Theatre Suite at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Main Theatres is a busy environment, hosting 17 Operating Theatres with a mix of elective and emergency surgeries.

This role involves assisting with the preparation and packing of used surgical instruments for transportation to our Central Decontamination Unit, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and stock levels of Theatre disposal areas.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate must meet the demands of the service, work efficiently under pressure, and have previous experience in a similar environment (desirable).

You will be required to complete the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.

Interviews are scheduled for 17th and 19th June 2025.
