Job summary

Edwards Vacuum is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence by embedding Lean VTPS principles and Six Sigma methodologies across the business. You will train employees, define and maintain process standards, and lead improvement projects.

This on-site role in Bristol involves facilitating structured problem-solving, tracking KPIs related to productivity, quality, and cost savings, and representing Edwards at VTPS meetings.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Confident with working on own initiative.
• Excellent IT literacy, MS Office user.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Lean Six Sigma training to employees at all levels using VTPS materials.
• Coach and mentor teams to build internal capability in continuous improvement.
• Define, document and maintain Lean manufacturing standards and best practices.
• Lead cross-functional Lean Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, improve quality and efficiency.
• Facilitate root cause analysis and structured problem-solving sessions.
• Track and report KPIs related to productivity, quality and cost savings.
