Job summary

Campden BRI seeks an experienced Chromatography Laboratory Operations Manager to lead the chromatography department, ensuring smooth daily operations and top-tier client service.

You will oversee equipment, resources, and workflow improvements, collaborating with supervisors to optimize efficiency and meet performance metrics. A chemistry background and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Experience leading laboratory operations in chromatography
Able to manage team supervisors/co-ordinators
Understanding analytical requirements for contaminants and nutrients
Experience applying continuous improvement to operations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiar with ISO 17025 requirements
Science degree in Chemistry or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily Chromatography Department operations.
Maintain high service levels for clients/members.
Support Team Manager with resource allocation.
Manage department equipment and assets.
Control costs and help meet financial metrics.
Coordinate with coordinators to oversee daily chromatography operations.
Review and improve workflows to boost efficiency.
