Job summary

Apricot is hiring a Christmas Temporary Sales Advisor in Cheltenham for the festive season. The role is part-time and temporary, starting in November with a contract end date of 3 January 2027. Hours are 12 per week across Tuesday, Friday and Sunday, four hours per day, with a pay rate of £11.60 to £12.96 per hour.

You’ll help customers and keep the store looking its best. No fashion retail experience is required; we value enthusiasm, customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Providing a friendly and welcoming experience to every customer
• Helping customers find products that suit their individual needs and style
• Developing and maintaining strong product knowledge
• Supporting the team to achieve sales targets and contribute to store performance
• Taking ownership of responsibilities and completing tasks to a high standard
• Keeping the shop floor well presented and maintaining our brand standards
• Supporting with deliveries, replenishment, stock takes and other store operations
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards across the store, including the stockroom and back-of-house areas
• Following all company policies and operational procedures, including health and safety requirements
• Taking part in training and development opportunities to build your knowledge and skills
• Working collaboratively with your colleagues and supporting the wider store team

We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic Christmas Temporary Sales Advisor to join our retail team for the festive season.

As a Christmas Temporary Sales Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of our customer experience during one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year. You’ll help customers find the perfect pieces, share your product knowledge and create a welcoming environment that makes every customer feel valued.

You’ll be part of a supportive and collaborative store team, helping to keep the store looking its best while contributing to our sales and overall store performance.

Please note: This role requires availability throughout the Christmas period and may not be suitable for those returning home for the university holidays.
