Job summary

DCK Group is hiring a Christmas Retail Associate in Shoreham. The role is 30 hours per week, temporary until 26 December 2026, with a start time of 9:00am and shift pattern across Tue–Sat. You will be based in Shoreham and may travel to other stores within your zone.

A driving licence and car are required for this role. You will work with a Team Leader, support merchandising, stock deliveries, and promotional activities, and engage customers with a friendly, professional attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred.
• Sales and/or retail sales experience is preferred.
• Access to a smartphone with up-to-date OS is required.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products to visual guidelines.
• Receive and set out deliveries of new stock.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in-store.
• Set up promotional activities and campaigns.
• Collaborate with host management to drive sales.

Role Title - Christmas Retail Associate - Shoreham - 30 hours per week

Due to the nature of the role, please ensure you have access to your own vehicle and have a full driving licence.

Shift Pattern - 6 Tuesday, 6 Wednesday, 6 Thursday, 6 Friday, 6 Saturday

This is a temporary role until 26/12/2026

Working hours: The required start time for this role is 9:00am

Please note - this is a Christmas Retail Associate role covering our stores during our busy peak Christmas period. The Christmas period is our busiest time and therefore we are unable to authorise any leave in December, please bear this in mind when applying.

Our Retail Assistants provide face to face contact and merchandising expertise within our retail stores. In return, we provide:

You will be based in Shoreham but may be required to travel to different stores within your zone. We are looking for those who are available to start as soon as possible.

You will be working alongside a Team Leader, who will provide you with coaching and ongoing support. Being tech savvy is desirable as we use quite a few apps to make working here as smooth as possible.

Job role:

You will need to be customer-focused, with a friendly, polite, professional and positive attitude.

You will complete various instore activities which include:

• Merchandising our product to our visual merchandising guidelines

• Putting out deliveries of new stock

• Maintaining housekeeping standards

• Setting up promotional activities

• You will be working with the host management teams to build great relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a customer facing setting is preferred, working in retail or with fashion brands is a plus.

• Sales and or retail sales experience is preferred

• Access to either an Apple or Android smartphone with the most up to date operating systems
