Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a Customer Assistant for our Food section, delivering frontline service and helping customers with knowledge of our food products. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that thrives under pressure, delivering great service and driving sales.

Expect evening shifts (20:00–00:00) with an additional £3.00 per hour unsocial premium for late hours. You may be asked to work up to full-time hours during peak weeks in December. Digital tools and a can-do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure in a busy retail environment.
• Comfortable using digital tools and responding quickly to customer needs.
• Flexible and able to work across different store areas and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver five-star service at pace and meet customer demand head-on.
• Assist customers, stock shelves, and contribute to a seamless shopping experience.
