Job summary

COOK is seeking a Christmas Driver in Northampton to join our retail team. This casual/fixed-term role includes Sunday shifts and delivers from our Northampton site with a focus on friendly, reliable customer service.

Pay is £13.45 per hour; you’ll plan routes, stay compliant with safety rules, and complete paperwork at the end of each shift. This position offers a lively team environment and the chance to contribute to a busy seasonal period.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat B licence.
• Minimum two years driving experience.
• Aged 25+ for Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders safely and on time to customers.
• Plan routes to ensure efficient deliveries and communicate delays.
• Ensure paperwork is completed and returned to the office.
• Drive safely, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.

The Role

• Offer remarkable service, the customer is always more important than anything else you are doing.
• Carry out deliveries safely and in line with the responsibilities in our driver handbook.
• Plan your route to ensure efficient and timely delivery, communicating any delays or issues with our office team so the customer can be informed.
• Take care to look after your own safety and that of others. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, comply with all relevant traffic regulations, including adhering to speed limits
• Ensure all paperwork is correctly completed and returned to the office at the end of each shift.

Good to Have

Cat B Full Car/Van UK manual driving licence.Minimum of two years driving the class of vehicle. Aged 25 and over for Insurance.
