Job summary

Hotel Chocolat in Uxbridge at The Chimes is seeking a Sales Advisor to join the UK's favourite premium chocolate brand. No prior retail experience is required; just a passion for customer service and brand ambassador spirit.

You will warmly welcome customers, demonstrate products, handle transactions, assist with stock and deliveries, and contribute to a warm, high-standard store and café experience. The role offers 12-hour working shifts and a permanent contract.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome every customer and immerse them in the world of Hotel Chocolat.
• Discovering your customers’ needs and reason for their visit through friendly conversation.
• Delighting customers through product demonstrations and tastings, checking allergens.
• Closing the sale and confidently recommending additional products such as gift bags.
• Genuinely thanking your customer for shopping with us, ensuring they leave happy.
• Processing transactions, refunds and exchanges at the till.
• Responding to customer feedback.
• Supporting deliveries and stock management and keeping the delivery area tidy per health and safety guidelines.
• Maintaining the appearance of the store and café areas to a high standard.
• Preparing drinks, ice creams and snacks in cafés (if applicable) while upselling.
• Supporting the store and team to drive success.
