Job summary

CAE seeks a Chinook Flight Instructor for RAF Benson to join the military helicopter simulator training team and deliver instruction within the Chinook HC Mk6A Dynamic Mission Simulator, providing realistic training for military aircrew.

This full-time role requires proven instructional experience, deep knowledge of Chinook systems, and strong mentoring skills. UK-based applicants with existing right-to-work are preferred; visa sponsorship is not advertised.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a flight instructor, preferably with military helicopter platforms.
• Deep understanding of Chinook HC Mk6A operations and systems.
• Ability to deliver engaging simulator-based training and assessments.
• Strong mentoring and communication skills for military aircrew.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction within the Chinook HC Mk6A Dynamic Mission Simulator (DMS).
• Conduct simulator-based instruction, assessments, and mentorship for aircrew.
• Cover operational environments across Chinook, Merlin, and future platforms.
