Job summary

CAE is seeking a highly experienced helicopter instructor to deliver simulator-based training at RAF Benson. You will mentor aircrew, conduct assessments and develop trainees through realistic day and night scenarios using the Chinook HC Mk6A DMS.

Applicants should have CFS B1+ accreditation, strong leadership, and the ability to work within a safety-focused military training environment in the United Kingdom.

Qualifications

• Ex-military CFS accredited B1 or higher Helicopter Instructor.
• Relevant military helicopter instructional experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver whole-crew training in Chinook HC Mk6A DMS and TCC.
• Assess trainee performance and conduct debriefs.
• Plan, brief, set up and conduct simulator sorties.
• Instruct on aircraft systems, emergency drills and SOPs.
• Act as role-player and support other aircraft types when needed.
