Job summary

A leading aerospace company is seeking an experienced Chinook Aviation Technician for a 12-month contract in Basingstoke. Job Description:

Our client is one of the world's biggest aerospace companies and is seeking an experienced Chinook Aircraft Technician to join them for a 12-month contract. The successful candidate will have experience working on a CH47 and a clear understanding of interpreting technical work requirements, documents, and drawings.

Candidates should have experience in aircraft maintenance, modification, repair, or wire harness manufacture and installation.

What We Expect To See:

  • Understanding of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA), MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP) Part, aviation Quality Assurance (QA), and Safety Management System (SMS).
  • Confidence in performing maintenance activities, fault diagnosis, and system tests.
  • Ability to work with peers on aircraft handling, maintenance, modification, and flight testing.
  • Responsibility for process adherence, accurate work recording, and compliance.
  • Experience in assembly, disassembly, modification, and troubleshooting of aerospace systems.
  • Ability to configure aircraft and test equipment, and document procedures.
  • Mentoring skills for peers and team members.
