Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Mobile HVACR Service Technician to cover the South West in a field-based role. You will service, maintain and commission water chillers, AC and HVAC systems across multiple customer sites and travel regionally with a company vehicle.

You will bring NVQ Level 2 in HVAC (Level 3 desirable), F-Gas Cat 1, strong electrical/controls skills and the ability to read schematics. A full UK driving licence and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in HVAC (Level 3 desirable)
• F‑Gas 2079 Cat 1 certification
• Proven experience as HVAC/Chiller Service Engineer
• Strong electrical, controls and diagnostic skills
• Ability to interpret schematics, piping diagrams and technical data
• Self-motivated and customer-focused, able to work independently
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and commissioning Water Chillers, AC and HVAC systems
• Fault-finding and repair across Chillers, DX, Split, VRV/VRF, AHUs and ventilation plant
• Working with manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric
• Completing documentation and providing proactive improvement recommendations
• Operating safely at all times, aligned with Zero Harm culture

The Role

You’ll be a trusted technical expert, delivering high‑quality service across multiple customer sites. Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and commissioning Water Chillers, AC and HVAC systems

• Fault‑finding and repair across Chillers, DX, Split, VRV/VRF, AHUs and ventilation plant

• Working with leading manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi and Mitsubishi Electric

• Completing clear documentation and providing proactive improvement recommendations

• Operating safely at all times, fully aligned with our Zero Harm culture

What We’re Looking For
