Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric – UK is seeking a Service Supervisor to support the regional service manager, oversee engineers, and provide on-site technical work where needed in the region. You will prepare detailed technical quotations, analyse manuals and schematics, coordinate parts and tool calibration, and ensure RAMS and DRA compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Regional Service Manager in developing customer relationships and supervising engineers.
• Provide technical support for Service Engineers.
• Analyse technical documents, manuals and schematics.
• Coordinate with engineers, order parts, arrange calibrations and PAT testing.
• Complete technical quotations from engineers’ reports or client requests.
• Support RAMS and DRA processes.
• Oversee delivery of engineers tools, vehicles and PPE.
• Interact with customers about engineering services offered by the service department.

Role summary:

The Service Supervisor will support the regional service manager, engineers, apprentices, office colleagues, and provide on-site technical work where necessary in their region. The Service Supervisor will provide detailed technical quotations for works identified via engineers’ reports, the client directly or MEUK internally.

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist the Regional Service Manager in developing positive customer relationships and offering service engineer supervision.
• Provide technical / job support for Service Engineers.
• Understanding and analysing technical documents, manuals, and schematics.
• Assist the Coordinators operational with engineers, arranging parts, tool calibrations, PAT testing.
• Complete technical quotations identified from engineers’ reports, the client direct, or via MEUK internally.
• Engineer health and safety support including completing RAMS and DRA’s.
• Assisting with delivery and management of engineers tools / vehicles / PPE.
• Offering customer interaction and support with engineering services offered by the service department.
