Job summary

Cranswick Lazenby's is recruiting Warehouse Order Pickers for Hull (HU7) in a chilled environment. Day shifts £13.50/hour and night shifts £15.00/hour, with a regular 4 on, 4 off pattern. Roles involve accurate order picking, scanning, packing for dispatch, and maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, order picking, or logistics experience is desirable.
• Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking approach.
• Strong team-working skills.
• Flexibility to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern.
• Experience using handheld scanners is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking customer orders within a chilled warehouse environment
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems to locate and pick products
• Preparing orders for dispatch in line with customer specifications
• Loading pallets and preparing goods for distribution
• Ensuring all products are handled safely and correctly
• Carrying out quality checks and verifying product information
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting colleagues to achieve daily productivity and performance targets
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
