Job summary

Randstad is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join the Sainsbury's team in a chilled warehouse environment. The role offers a clear path to permanency after 12 weeks, with competitive hourly pay and extra bonuses for productivity and weekend shifts.

Training on LLOP and PPT is provided, with on-site facilities and benefits. Shifts run 06:00-14:00 and 13:30-21:30, five days a week, at WA11 9WB, Haydock, Saint Helens, UK.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a chilled warehouse environment.
• Physical fitness capable of lifting up to 20kg.
• Flexibility to commit to 5 shifts per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Operate picking equipment safely to build store orders accurately.
• Maintain high quality standards to ensure products arrive in perfect condition.
• Pick essential products including meat, dairy, juices, and beverages.
• Work effectively within a chilled depot environment, maintaining a temperature of 3-5°C.
• Complete full training provided on the operation of Low-Level Order Pickers (LLOP) and Powered Pallet Trucks (PPT).
