Job summary

The Cambian Group is seeking Residential Team Leaders to support children and young people in our homes across the UK. You will lead by example, plan rotas with the Deputy/Home Manager, and ensure care aligns with Ofsted requirements.

Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification, have at least six months’ experience in children’s residential care, and be 21+. A driving licence is essential as locations vary. Sleep-in payments apply monthly.

Responsibilities

• Meeting the needs of the Children and Young People in line with Ofsted regulations.
• Planning team rotas to support the Deputy and home manager in various meetings and appointments.
• Assisting the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager in the implementation of all aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
• To carry out all other reasonable tasks as directed by the Registered Manager and/or the Deputy Manager.
• To supervise in the absence of the Registered Manager and/or Deputy Manager.
• Welcome a diverse culture in the home.
• Creating a safe, family environment for the children.

Level 3 qualification in children’s residential care

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Residential Team Leaders! We are looking for Team Leaders who are caring and compassionate individuals with the desire to make a positive difference to the lives of our incredible children and young people through leading by example to other children's and young person’s support workers.

• £2800 to £3600 sleep in payments (based 8-10 sleep ins per month)
• 224 hours of paid annual leave per annum, rising to 240 hours after 5 years
• The shifts consist of long hours and sleep ins (which are essential) and the hours differ depending on which home you are based in
