Job summary

A children's residential care provider in East Midlands is seeking an Ofsted Registered Manager for a new 4-bed home for young people aged 9-18. In this role, you'll lead the home through registration and beyond, supported by a dedicated senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare and at least a year of experience as a Registered or Deputy Manager. This role offers the opportunity to inspire a team and make a significant impact on the lives of young people.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered / Deputy Manager.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for young people.

Overview

We are excited to announce the opening of a brand-new 4-bed children’s residential care home for young people aged 9-18 with complex emotional and learning difficulties.

As the Ofsted Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, ethos, and success of the home. You’ll be supported by an established senior leadership team, with regular manager forums and shared best practice across our wider organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the home through registration, opening, and beyond with the full support of a Senior Management Team in head office.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered / Deputy Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance (desirable)
  • A creative, child-centred leader who can inspire and motivate staff
  • A passion for delivering outstanding outcomes for young people
