Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Limited in Nottingham is seeking a compassionate care professional to support a 14-year-old client with a brain injury at school, providing daily care and assisting with activities throughout the school day.

You will perform personal care, ventilator management, PEG support, suction, administer medication, and moving and handling, while building rapport with the child and the wider team.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate will be kind, caring and reliable.
• Someone who is enthusiastic, shows initiative and can build a good rapport with people, especially children.
• Experience with complex care is preferred; nurse-led training will be provided.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a confident and nurturing care professional to support a very special client of ours. Our client is a 14 year old boy with a brain injury. With this role you will be attending school with him, providing his care needs and supporting him with activities throughout the school day.

The Key tasks include:

• Personal care
• Ventilator management
• PEG Support
• Suction
• Administer medication
• Moving and handling
