Job summary

Care By Us Ltd is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to support a 10-year-old child in their family home during night hours in Luton.

Training is provided via a nurse-led programme; prior complex care experience is not essential. The role focuses on personal care, NG-tube medication and safety tasks, with opportunities for career progression within the care family.

Qualifications

• This role offers nurse-led training provided on entry; no prior complex care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Personal care for the child during night shifts.
• Medication administration via NG tube.
• Suction and airway support as needed.
• Moving and handling tasks to ensure safety.
• Provide comfort and reassurance to the child.

Job description

Shifts: Waking Night Shifts 22:00 - 10:00 | Monday - Sunday

Driver required: A driver is not required for this role.

What you’ll do

Working in the family home of a young child you will make a real difference in providing care and support to this family by ensuring the safety and comfort of their 10 year old child through the night.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional.

The Key tasks include:

• Personal care
• Medication via NG Tube
• Suction
• Moving and handling
• Provide comfort and reassurance to the child.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

Experience within a complex care role is not essential as full nurse led training will be provided.
