Job summary

Independent Community Care Management Limited is seeking a dedicated care professional to provide in-home support for a child with epilepsy who is PEG fed. You will ensure safety, comfort and engagement through activities like storytelling, songs and sensory play, within a family setting.

The role requires confidence, compassion and a friendly approach; positions include both weekday and waking night shifts. DBS clearance is provided, with full training and clear progression within CCH.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Working in the family home of a young child you will make a real difference in providing care and support to this family by ensuring the safety and comfort of their child. This young child has epilepsy and is PEG fed. She loves having stories read to her, listening to songs and enjoys sensory play. The family also have a pet dog in the home.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional.

The key tasks with this role include:

• PEG Feeding
• Administering Medication
• Moving and Handling
• Sensory Play

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:
