Job summary

Charles Hunter Associates is recruiting for permanent Children Support Workers to join residential homes in Exeter, Tiverton, Dartington, Crediton and Barnstaple. The role offers a 40-hour full-time contract and a starting salary of £31,600 (including £3,600 sleep-ins) to support young people with trauma, learning needs or complex health requirements in a safe, therapeutic environment.

• Graduate with degree relevant to children’s residential care or equivalent experience
• Driving license and access to own vehicle
• Willingness to work shifts including mornings, evenings and sleep-ins
• Experience with trauma-affected children or learning disabilities is advantageous

Responsibilities

My client is looking to hire permanent Children Support Workers for their children's homes based in Exeter, Tiverton, Dartington, Crediton and Barnstaple.

This role is working in a residential children's home which offers a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for young people who have either suffered early childhood trauma from abuse, neglect or exploitation or require additional support due to learning disabilities and complex needs.
