Job summary

Brook Street Social Care in Consett is seeking an experienced Children’s Residential Support Worker to support a residential service with children and young people who have learning disabilities and behaviours that may challenge.

You will deliver person-centred support, follow safeguarding procedures, promote independence, and work as part of an experienced care team across day, night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a children's residential care setting
• Experience supporting children with LD and behaviours that may challenge
• Good understanding of safeguarding
• Confident, reliable and caring approach
• Ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
