Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking Children’s Support Workers to provide caring, reliable support to vulnerable young people in care. You’ll help with daily routines, learning, and independence while building trust and a sense of normality in their lives.

Granting you the chance to make a meaningful impact, this role also involves safeguarding responsibilities and DBS checks, with flexible shifts and ongoing training to grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Reliable, patient and caring individuals are sought to support young people in care.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check is required or willingness to complete one.

Responsibilities

• Offer thoughtful, consistent care to young people who need it most
• Build trust and create a sense of normality in daily life
• Support learning, independence, and everyday life skills
• Prepare meals and encourage healthy habits
• Speak up for young people and make sure they are listened to
• Help them attend appointments and take part in community activities
