Job summary

Community Integrated Care is looking for compassionate staff to support ARC HD Services in giving a nurturing, safe home for children aged 9-18 with complex emotional and mental health needs. You will help them grow, build confidence and independence, and work with their families where appropriate.

You’ll join a Registered Manager & Support Worker team, with 9-hr and 15-hr shifts, including 10pm-8am sleepovers or waking nights.

Responsibilities

• Support 3 children to live their daily lives in the way they want to live them, helping build their confidence and encouraging them to make their own decisions.
• Provide support in independent living skills such as cooking, cleaning, baking, shopping and budgeting.
• Encourage attendance at school and planning for the children’s futures.
• Support visits to families and friends and encourage activities and goals.
